Who am I
I’m Joe, a woodworker with over a decade of hands-on experience transforming discarded timber into objets d’art you’ll use every day. What inspires me most is the journey each piece of wood has taken—from fallen branches and salvaged beams to a beautifully finished bowl or vase under my hands. I love revealing the hidden beauty in recycled wood: its grain, its knots, even its past scars become part of the story I carve into every creation.

Joe’s Crafted Wood began more than ten years ago when I set out to fulfill a simple dream: to create something unique, beautiful, and useful from the wood others had discarded. Frustrated by mass-produced homeware and driven by a passion for sustainable living, I carved out a small workshop and taught myself the skills I needed—hand-selecting reclaimed planks, mastering traditional joinery, and experimenting with new grain-mapping techniques. Today, that workshop has grown into a creative studio where each piece honors its past life and points toward a greener future.
